At San Diego Surf we strive to create the best of the best soccer experiences for our community. As an alternative program to our Junior Academy and year-round teams, we host annual spring and fall recreational playing opportunities for our local youth ages 3-11.
Playing recreationally is a fun way to learn and gain a love for the game. It builds confidence and sets players up for an exciting future in soccer. We play small-sided games to maximize touches and enjoyment. This is in relation to USSF small-sided rules and regulations, suitable for any level player.
Additionally, our recreational program serves young and aspiring coaches from our community. Our recreation coaches include a mix of professional and volunteer, guided by our recreational coaches’ director. We have many additional volunteering opportunities for youth ages 13+, too!
