Eddie Fonbon Appointed Regional Manager for San Diego Surf South
San Diego, CA, November 21st, 2025 – San Diego Surf Soccer Club is proud to announce the appointment of Eddie Fonbon as our San Diego Surf South Regional Manager, overseeing operations across our San Diego Surf South location.
Eddie joins San Diego Surf after spending 25 years coaching at respected local clubs, including Nomads and Rebels. His background includes serving as an Academy and ECNL staff coach, a role in which he was directly responsible for shaping top youth talent. He also developed multiple youth athletes who went on to represent both the US Youth National team and Mexico Youth National team.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to join Surf,” said Eddie Fonbon. “Surf is the best club in San Diego and one of the best in the nation. I am looking forward to developing players for Surf and working alongside amazing staff and coaches.”
