San Diego Surf Brings Home 3 State Cup Champion Titles!

“On reflection So Cal State Cup was another rip-roaring success for Surf Girls Zone One Program!

Of the 10 teams from 2015-2012, we had 7 quarter-finalists, 4 semi-finalists, 2 finalists and 1 team crowned Champions! Also a special word for the 2016s who played up a year and made the semi-finals.

These girls represented our proud club with aplomb and have gained some magical memories and valuable lessons from the experiences.

“Another incredible showing this year at SOCAL State Cup for our younger boys program at San Diego Surf Soccer Club.

10 teams advanced to the quarterfinals, 5 teams advanced to the semi-finals and 3 teams advanced to the finals, with 2 teams becoming State Cup Champions.

Our success this year was not just based on our elite teams playing in the super cup flight, but we also showed strength in depth with our program, as some of our flight 2 and flight 3 teams advanced deep into the tournament.

No other soccer program in SoCal was able to produce this dominance on the boy’s side in the younger ages. Well done to everyone concerned, coaches, players, and parents for their commitment and loyalty to Surf soccer club. The future is very bright here at Surf.”
