Paul Holohan Appointed Regional Director for San Diego Surf
San Diego, CA, November 10th, 2025 – San Diego Surf Soccer Club is proud to announce the appointment of Paul Holohan as San Diego Surf Regional Director, overseeing operations across North, South, and Central San Diego. In his expanded leadership role, Paul will also work closely with Surf Del Mar, aligning all regional initiatives under one unified vision to continue driving Surf’s excellence in player development, player pathway and club culture.
With over 25 years of experience in the US and San Diego soccer community and an extensive background in U.S. youth soccer, Paul brings a proven track record of success both on and off the field. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping high-performing teams, building strong community relationships, and fostering an environment where players and coaches can thrive at every level.
“Paul has been an integral part of Surf’s growth and success over the past 2 years,” said San Diego Surf Leadership Team. “His knowledge of the local landscape, his passion for player development, and his ability to unite programs across our regions make him the perfect choice to guide Surf into its next phase.”
In his new capacity, Paul will lead directors and technical staff in creating consistency across all programs, ensuring every Surf player receives the same high standard of coaching, culture, and opportunity that has made the club one of the nation’s premier soccer organizations.
