Surf Cup Sports and Folsom Lake Soccer League Partner to Create Greater Opportunities and Experiences in Sacramento Region
Surf Cup Sports (San Diego, CA) is proud to announce our new partnership with Folsom Lake Soccer League (Folsom Lake, CA), one of the fastest growing and progressive soccer organizations in Northern California. Folsom will rebrand their competitive division from Folsom Lake Earthquakes to Folsom Lake Surf. The club will play the remainder of 2019 as Folsom Lake Earthquakes but will be fully integrated into the Surf Brand by the start of the 2020 season. Folsom Lake Surf is devoted to solidifying the best in player development and a strong player pathway in Sacramento Region and joining Surf provides them a clear opportunity to fulfill that mission.
The Folsom Lake Soccer League has more than 5,000 kids registered and serves the East Sacramento and West El Dorado County communities. The league is registered in Folsom and includes the competitive division and Folsom Soccer Club, Rancho Cordova and Orangevale recreational programs. All players in the competitive program will identify under the Surf brand, while all recreation teams in the league will keep their identities but will be recognized as being part of the Surf network. All programs are focused on developing the whole person, while learning sound, strong competitive soccer skills.
Folsom Lake Surf joins San Jose Surf, Monterey Surf, Walnut Creek Surf, Sierra Surf and Central Valley Surf in the Northern California region to build an elite development program for Surf players and coaches. This Surf alliance will have unmatched access to top level programming and network resources.

We support multi-league play, networking our players with outside organizations for additional playing experiences and even guest playing them with higher level teams when possible.
