Scott joins San Diego Surf with an extensive resume. Scott is a former professional soccer player with 15 years of professional playing experience and has represented Scotland at international level. Originally from Scotland, Scott was picked up by his professional hometown club, Aberdeen Football Club at the age of nine years old. Scott was developed by the club and at the age of 17 he made his professional debut for Aberdeen FC.

In 2013, Scott moved out to the United States to continue his playing career joining Phoenix Rising in the USL. After several years of playing with the team he transitioned to a coaching role and was Assistant Coach to Frank Yallop, former Head Coach of LA Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes. Scott has coaching experience at Professional and Development Academy level.

Scott relocated to San Diego last year where he received his United States Soccer Federation National A License.

Scott is excited to join Surf and looks forward to training some of the best talent in the country. Scott is the product of a professional youth academy and is elated to have the opportunity to train the next generation of soccer players to reach their highest potential.
